Anecdotes
- We were about to watch a movie. My mom bought tickets for the four of us. The ticket vendor asked my mom. “Are you sure that all of your companion are above thirteen? ” the ticket vendor asked. My mom turned around and looked at me then asked the ticket vendor “Yes I’m sure that my kids are above thirteen, What is the problem?” The ticket vendor pointed my sister. We all laughed, my mom told her “She just graduated from high school”. All the while, the ticket vendor thought that I was the eldest and Ate Joyce was the youngest. Maybe because I was tall and my sister was petite.
- Last year my mom had an operation. She send me to buy her medicine. I was walking along J.P. Rizal Avenue, Makati City. When I was walking I noticed a man following me. When I changed direction he’d do the same. I remembered a police station nearby. I just stood in front of the police station. The man just disappeared. “ Well,” I thought, “ Who’s from the province?”
- Every time we watch a Harry Potter movie I would keep on asking “ What happened?”, ”Who was that?”, “ Why is that?”, ”WHAT THE…………………?”. My mother and sister would answer “ READ THE BOOK!”.
